Ross is one of the solicitors based in our Commercial and Property Law Departments bringing years of experience on the frontlines of property transactions as a settlement agent, conveyancer and now solicitor to our already diverse and experienced team.
Ross’s practice focuses primarily on day to day residential and commercial property transactions including leasing, off-the-plan developments and dealings with the Queensland Titles Office. That being said Ross also assists our Wills and Estate team. Dedicated to prompt and accessible legal service when and where it’s needed he prides himself on fast response times and quality results for his clients.
With this in mind Ross also forms a valuable part of the legal panel with oversight of our conveyancing department and is actively involved in implementing projects to streamline and automate our internal practices to help ensure uniform quality and efficiency across the entire firm.

Kylie commenced her career as a personal injury lawyer and has subsequently moved on to practice in commercial and property law. Kylie was admitted as a Solicitor in 2009 after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (major in Accounting) at Griffith University. Fiona joined McCarthy Durie Lawyers’ Conveyancing team in 2015.
Fiona’s Experience
Fiona started in the legal arena as an office junior in 1997, and then graduated to legal accounts a year later.
She then moved into the conveyancing arena as a part-time town clerk, followed by a dual role with accounts in 2000. In 2003, she gained a role as a conveyancing assistant and has never looked back.
Fiona’s breadth of experience, which also includes a two-year stint working for a finance broker, ensures no client question goes unanswered.

Juliet started at McCarthy Durie in 2002 as a Conveyancing assistant and progressed to the role of Conveyancer in 2007.
Juliet’s working life has always been in the legal field but she has found enjoyment in working with Conveyancing matters. She prides herself on achieving settlement within the required time frame of a contract and endeavours to ensure that each client has a happy experience when buying or selling their property.
